We collect nothing. Zero. Nada.

SolarCalc is designed to be completely private. We do not collect, store, process, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no cookies for tracking, no analytics scripts that fingerprint you, no forms that submit your data anywhere.

What We Don't Collect

• No personal information — no name, email, phone number, or address
• No location data — you select your state from a dropdown; that selection never leaves your browser
• No usage analytics — we don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any tracking scripts
• No cookies — we don't set any cookies, tracking or otherwise
• No IP addresses — nothing is logged server-side

How Calculations Work

All solar estimates, battery ROI calculations, and incentive lookups run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your monthly bill amount, state selection, and any advanced options you adjust are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted anywhere.

Third-Party Services

The "Compare Quotes" tab links to EnergySage, an independent solar marketplace. If you choose to visit EnergySage, their privacy policy applies. We do not pass any data to them.

Our fonts (Inter) are loaded from Google Fonts. Google's privacy policy applies to that request.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, request path) as part of their infrastructure. These logs are not accessible to us and are subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

SolarCalc is a general-audience tool for homeowners. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
